How often do I change my electrodes?

Change the electrodes every day. This helps the Biocore (Pro) device stick to your skin properly. Be gentle when removing electrodes to avoid skin damage.

How long do I need to wear the Biocore (Pro) device?

Wear the Biocore (Pro) device as often and for as long as possible. The more data the device collects, the better your results will be.

Can I shower with the Biocore (Pro) device on?

Yes, you can shower with the device. However, we recommend using this time to charge the device. If you do shower with the device on:

  • Avoid direct water contact with the device.
  • After showering, inspect and replace the electrode if it’s coming off. This ensures proper contact and optimal device function.

What if I forget to wear the Biocore (Pro) device?

Don’t worry! Just put the Biocore (Pro) device back on when you remember. Try to wear it as much as you can every day.

How often do I charge the Biocore (Pro)?

Charge the device once every 48 hours to ensure continuous heart monitoring.

How do I record an event?

Simply press the center button on your device, then open the Biocore (Pro) Health app to record and describe your symptoms.

What if the patch causes skin irritation?

Ensure your skin is dry before application. If irritation occurs, try rotating the patch location slightly or contact your provider.

How do I know that my device is still active and recording?

To view your study status, battery life, and live heart rate, navigate to the Home tab in the app.

How do I know that my study has ended?

You will receive a text message to let you know your study has ended or to view your study status, tap the Home tab in the app.

What do I do with the device after my study has ended?

Please collect the Biocore (Pro) device and charger, place them securely in the provided case, and return them to your clinic.

What is my heart rhythm and why monitor it?

Monitoring detects irregularities (arrhythmias) early, providing a clear picture of your heart health over time.

How do I view my Heart Rhythm?

In the app, tap Home → View Live Rhythm. If no data appears, contact our help team.

What kind of activity is Bioheart suited for?

Everything! Bioheart tracks every beat during workouts, work, or sleep.

How do I make sure my data is backed up?

Sync daily via the app to upload data to the cloud. Bioheart stores 30 days of data on-board.

What happens to my data if I lose connection?

Your data is safe. Bioheart stores up to 30 days locally and syncs automatically once reconnected.

How do I manually sync my data?

You can instantly sync your data in the app by selecting Devices Tab → Bioheart → View Detail → Sync Your Heart Data.

Why can’t I see my past data?

Check if phone is in range, Bluetooth is on, and internet is stable. Open the app regularly to sync.

How do I know that my device is active and recording data?

To view your device engagement, battery life, and live heart rate, navigate to the Devices Tab → Bioheart → View Details in the app.

When do I charge my Bioheart?

The device will blink orange to indicate it’s time to charge your device. Charge your device for 1-2 hours and you are ready to go.

How do I check my battery?

Go to the Home tab in the app to view battery status.

How do I wash my device?

Your strap is machine washable on a gentle cycle, cold water, no bleach or gently handwash and hang to dry. Do not put in Dryer.

How do I generate a report?

In the app, go to the Home tab, scroll down to the Health Report section, and select the Go to Health Reports button. Tap the green + button in the top right corner, select your start and stop dates (the yellow dot indicates device usage), then select Create.

How do I share a report?

After you have generated a report, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select Share report.

What vitals does Biokit track?

Biokit measures and updates your Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, SpO2, and Body Temperature directly within the Biocare Health App.

How do I ensure my measurements sync?

Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on and the Biocare Health App is open. Measurements will sync and update your personal profile automatically.

How do I get the most accurate Blood Pressure reading?

Wrap the cuff around your upper arm, 1-2 cm above the elbow against the skin. Ensure the direction indicators are properly oriented before pressing the power button.

What is the correct way to use the Pulse Oximeter?

Completely insert one finger into the probe with your fingernail facing upward toward the LED display. Press the power button and wait for your data to appear.

How do I use the Digital Thermometer?

Use the Forehead Method with the probe cover on, or the Auricular Method by removing the cover and gently inserting the probe into the ear cavity.

How do I know my device is active and recording data?

The device does not continuously record data. It becomes active only during a measurement session—when it is turned on, connected, and in use. You can view your results on the device screen or in your vital history on the Summary tab in the app.

What should I do if a device won't turn on?

For the Pulse Oximeter and Thermometer, check that the 2 AAA batteries are installed correctly. For the Blood Pressure Monitor, ensure it is charged using the provided wall charger.
