How Does Extended Holter Monitoring Work?
Holter monitoring is the most common method of heart monitoring, that uses a small portable device to record your heart activity. It records your heart rhythm as you go about your daily life doing activities like running errands, exercising, and sleeping. Once the monitoring is complete, the data is analyzed for any issues and a final diagnosis can be made by your doctor.

Getting Started
Biotres is prescribed to a patient for a specific duration to record their heart. The Biotres constantly records the patient’s ECG, during the duration of the study, for later analysis.
Wear Biotres
Your doctor will prescribe Biotres. It will be applied to your chest during an office visit or sent to your home for self-application.
Record Symptoms
If you feel anything that you think might be unusual, please press the “marking” button on the Biotres to identify this and select your symptom in the Biotres Gateway app. Charge Biotres once a day.
Discuss Results
When the study is complete, you return Biotres to the doctor’s office. Results are sent to the doctor within 3-5 days of the study completing and uploading to the server, assuming there is connectivity for the Biotres.
